1. gain more independence
Next year I will be starting university and possibly moving away from home, so I'm going to be gaining a lot of independence and having to step out of my comfort zone quite a bit. I live in a really small town and am lucky to have parents that frequently help me out with travel, money, food, bills etc. so by possibly moving to the city on my own, I will start managing a lot of these things on my own. It is a bit daunting and I know I'm going to make a lot of mistakes (and I mean a lot - I've never even caught public transport alone before!), but I'm super excited to learn new things and gain confidence while doing so.
2. start saving
I've been trying to find work for a few months now and am finding it really difficult, so am hoping that new opportunities will present themselves in 2017 and I'll be able to find a job and start properly saving for the future.
I went travelling this year and had so much fun, and I'd love to work towards another trip in 2017. Whether this be an overseas trip or in Australia somewhere, I'd love to create more awesome memories like the ones I made in New Zealand.
4. get my P's
I got my Learner's licence two years ago when I was 16, and still don't have enough hours to upgrade to my P's (when you get your P's, you're allowed to drive on the road by yourself). One of my biggest goals for 2017 is to complete all 120 hours and pass my P's test. This will also majorly help with my goal to gain more independence.
5. start blogging again (for real)
For the past two years my blog has gone downhill; not just in terms of views but in how regularly I post, the type of content I've been creating and my overall enjoyment of the process. Blogging used to be my biggest passion and it brought me so much joy, and I'd love to get back to this feeling through re-branding my blog and creating content I personally enjoy working on. I have some exciting ideas for new features and can't wait to turn these ideas into reality in the new year.
